Mike Grantham on National Television

In addition to running the tutoring agency (and actively tutoring myself) when I am not involved with teaching,
I am a construction materials consultant. I have been on TV several times in recent years, including BBC's
Watchdog and Granada's "House of Horrors!" series.
In 2011, I appeared twice on "Help - my House is Falling Down" where I diagnosed the cause of cracking to
an old concrete house in Warwick and was also consulted on problems with the foundations of a bungalow in
Blackpool. Previously, I have appeared on Watchdog and on Granada's "House of Horrors" programmes.
When not teaching youngsters, I am a Consultant on concrete problems for Sandberg LLP (www.sandberg.co.uk) and also lecture at Queen's University, Belfast.
I am a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) Ambassador for schools and work with schools to encourage
youngsters into a Science or Engineering career, as I have certainly found it a constant challenge over the
years!
